The Fields of Time Project is a fascinating community art scheme run by the St Mary’s Preservation Trust. It involves a significant number of local people who are:
- recording field names from South Ronaldsay’s south parish (and beyond); and
- creating a large patchwork that, when completed, will be displayed in St Mary’s, Burwick.
You can both follow progress on the Fields of Time Facebook page and appreciate the scale and quality of the work being undertaken. There is a lot to see here.
